Develop communication skills in SignWriting, the universal written Sign Language, by using the Official SignPuddle app. By learning SignWriting, the student will develop a comprehensive understanding of American Sign Language (ASL). Students can easily grasp the skill of SignWriting through the use of an image, a customized sign, and an English translation.
Hearing impaired students, ASL students, parents, educators, occupational therapists, and speech therapists will benefit from the tools inside this app.
Through thirteen different categories, a total of 180 basic words are available to the user with a quiz to test the students knowledge of of SignWriting. A student can discover more about SignWriting by visiting the "Links" menu. This app can be used in adjunct to SignPuddle.org.
